I just purchased this Lenovo Ideapad 310 for $450 and so far so good. I use it for word processing and maintaining my Wordpress website. Fast and reliable laptop.

Graphics: Something that is not mentioned is the *6GB* AMD Raedon
graphics chipset. Yes, it is a laptop and is not desktop grade, but it
makes a difference.
-Great sound: I was actually surprised at the crisp sound. Laptops generally fall short in this department.
-Size: It is not overly large or thick, but the monitor is the perfect size.
CONS:
-Heat:
It can get a little hot. It hasn't been too much of an issue, but I'm
sure that further down the road, it will be a problem that will need to
be addressed.
-Noisy: It's not a very quiet laptop, which honestly is to be expected from something with so much power.
-Windows
10: Okay. This is likely not an issue for some people, but I absolutely
detest Windows's new operating system. It's something I'll have to grit
my teeth and get over, as it's the new standard. Better than Windows 8,
but still not Windows 7.
It is worth every penny. I recommend this machine.
